Ich vermute mal dass Byzanz und das HRR damals Konkurenten waren - man erinnere sich wie z.B. damals der Kaiser von Byzanz vor Wut schäumte als Karl der Grosse zum Kaiser gekrönt wurde. Daher ist deine Quellenangabe mit vorsicht zu geniesen.
Auf der anderen Seite, führen sich aber nicht auch so türkische Frauen in Deutschland auf? :P
