Die Religion der Sami in Finnland,
Nord-Norwegen und Nord-Schweden.
Es ähnelt stark den türkischen Religionen.
Hier eine Auszug (english):
The religion of the Sámi people
The religion of the Sámi was a religion based on nature. Everything was alive and anything of importance was revered. The sun was important, since it gave life to plants, animals and human beings. The moon, thunder and wind were also important.
The Sámi believed in many different things, but mostly in their gods. Something good about the religion are the female gods. The mothergoddess Mátaráhkka together with her daughters Sáráhká, Uksáhkka and Juksáhkka took care of the family and guarded the hut.
Nowadays, the old Sámi religion is just practised in one special place in the north of Norway. Most of the Sámi have turned Christian, even though some parts of their old belief will always be there, as for instance in old customs and in the bringing up of children.
The Sámi believed in rising again from the dead. They believed that the Noajdde, the Shaman, was able to visit the kingdom of death by using his drum and then return. He could talk with the gods and find out their will. He could also ask for advice or help. The drum was seen as a thing with special power. According to Johan Märak, a Sámi and a retired priest from Jokkmokk, the bear was sacred to the Sámi people. The person who managed to kill a bear was the one who was mentally strongest of all the people who were taking part in the hunt. When the men came home from a successful hunt, the women had to spit alder-bark in their men’s faces to neutralise the power the men had got by killing the bear. No bones were allowed to be thrown away or be broken when the bear was going to be slaughtered. When all the meat was eaten, the bones had to be buried exactly in the same order as in the living animal, and in special beargraves. They believed that the bear in that way could be reborn to the next hunt. Today, the Sámi still believe that the bear has a special power that man can be affected.
Für interessierte, kann ich es ja auch noch ins arabische übersetzen, dazu geh natürlich noch extra in einen Korankurs und lern die Sprüche auswendig ... :-)
